Do you think it’s the hardest among all levels? As this level has the most comment at http://titledpuzzle.wordpress.com/2008/06/24/level-3/, you know, my math geek friends, Raymond Tanadi (Gold Medal in Math OSN(National Olimpiade of Science)), Ivan Wangsa C. L. (Silver Medal in OSN, he even attempted to use a psychological trick on me, it didn’t work, but I gave him though), can’t get through. There is only one person at the comment, with just the help of the hint, can get through to level 4. Shall I nominate this level as one of the hardest level in Titled Puzzle?

You may or may not have known that I’m an online game player too, especially MMORPG games like RF Online and SEAL Online. The first game online was introduced to me by my old friend from Sydney, Andrew (Howdy!). It was Runescape.

But now I just want to share you an interesting thing when I was playing SEAL Online Indonesia. It’s about someone nicknamed “Imam93″ or “Iman93″ as his character name. FYI non-Indonesian/Malay readers, imam means priest and iman meants faith. I think he tried to steal my King Moo Moo pet. Here is the full, almost exact translation of the conversation, while I was mobbing Saloa:

Imam93: Do you want to get your pet to be cheated to Male Dryad+9?
Calvinlimuel: OK, if you can.
Imam93: First you have to give me your pet.
Calvinlimuel: Before that I have to take something from you as a bail.
Imam93: Ok.
[then he dropped a Bat Wing]
Calvinlimuel: have you ever been told by your parents or your teachers a bail must be equal or near equal in price or measure of preciousness?
Imam93: [he took the wing] If you don’t want to then OK.
Calvinlimuel: You know, here’s the deal.
Calvinlimuel: As honest guy, you know I won’t take your items as you already have my item, and so do you.
Calvinlimuel: Why don’t you take off your Solar as well and we’ll exchange. After you done cheating, we’ll exchange back.
Imam93: But my pet is about to evo.
Imam93: Just 2% more.
Calvinlimuel: So why don’t you cheat it yourself first?
Calvinlimuel: You can really cheat pets right?

After that, he walked away and never answered me again. That last question was only for the proof for me, but he ran away. Despite just wait a few minutes and give the solar two rusty gears, and I don’t know how to cheat a pet, well isn’t it easy for him if he can cheat it to the final evo himself first?

I thank God for all this 15 years for me and 15/1000 day of You. For all Your love unto me, that I can’t express it into words, but just one word and one thing, it’s Your love. Thank you for I can serve you with my music that comes from you, and for songs that You gave me since I was little. Guide me again and walk Your Love with me day by day now until forever.

And help me to finish all my songs (30+ songs!) and help me to finish writing all the arrangement into music sheets so I can submit it for recording and to be sung in RPK later on. *hehe*

Thank You Lord, You’re the best in my life. Forever reign in my life. Not as a baby child, but as the King, rule over my all.

Tadinya saya mau membuat artikel ini dengan judul “Kemunduran IPTEK Sekolah”. Tetapi mengingat banyak juga tuh yang maju, saya ganti saja menjadi keterbatasan kurikulum iptek sekolah di Indonesia. Dan tadinya juga mau pakai bahasa yang sopan dan terstruktur, tetapi karena bahasannya tidak perlu juga, kita ambil santai lah.

Bagaimana tidak? Sekarang kita ngomong di seputar sekolah saya dulu, di bawah Yayasan BPK PENABUR. Ketika saya duduk di bangku SD, di pelajaran komputer, yang saya pelajari adalah: Fanta Vision (Program animasi DOS), LogoWriter (program gak jelas di DOS), Paint. Tentu saja masih ada lagi. Untuk apa belajar kedua program pertama? Toh tidak dipakai? Paint, mengapa baru kelas 3SD (CMIIW)? Mengapa tidak mulai dari TK (Taman Kanak-Kanak), usia di mana anak-anak mulai dapat berkreasi?

Sekarang saya sudah SMP, mau masuk SMA. Pelajaran saya di kelas 7? Dasar-dasar pengoperasian Windows! Sudah pernah di SD, meskipun harusnya dari TK. Lalu di kelas 9 juga kita mengulangi dasar-dasar pengoperasian sistem operasi, bedanya sekarang kita belajar dengan Mandriva Linux (Jadi ingat, ketika IHSC 2008, pembicara Irvan berkata begini: “Linux pada dasarnya jelek. Tetapi Windows, lebih jelek lagi.” Diikuti tawa seluruh peserta karena setuju). Memang ada apa sih? Harus belajar lagi dasar-dasarnya. Kita kan sudah belajar mengoperasikan Windows. Sekarang Linux sudah punya GUI. Apalagi Mandrake memakai KDE, yang (katanya) GUI yang paling user-friendly.

Finally, this blog is up, with the yet another new WordPress version, WP 2.7. I still have to maintain and fix here and there. I post this with the QuickPress, 2.7’s feature.

Last Sunday, I’m surprised that my article about “Love Of A Father”, got in the front page of my church’s congregation’s news media. The article was rewritten by the redactor, and the redactor inserts the source’s from e-mail. Yeah, I think one of my readers spread my article to another mailing list after I posted it to Biblika Yahoogroups. Well, now, I’m just happy this article can be a blessing to all people in Indonesia, and I hope, all around the world, after I translated it and post it in BibEL AppEL. Although I was a little busy to warn of my Creative-Commons License Infringement, where you should put a link (give attribution) to the source. Yesterday I came in to buy a CHIP magazine and a capotasto. Then, I went to the computer books section, and I found one more useless book from Dominikus Juju and MataMaya Studio. This is the cover of the book:

Yeah, previously they wrote two another useless book, and the first was “Teknik Menjebol Password untuk Pemula”, or “Cracking Password Technique for Beginners”. And the subjects there was already old.

And this book, I don’t say it’s old, but I do want to say, why do people like to commercialize something that you don’t need to?
