The up-coming WordPress 2.7 introduce new advanced comment features; comment threading, nesting, paging (pagination) etc. You probably won’t have any issue with WordPress 2.7 as most of the new advanced/enhanced features is disabled by default. Thats a good news.

• Dynamic SEF Blog heading. Available if your server support for PHP GD and Freetype Library. Required a working fonts inside the public webfonts directory.
• jQuery ScrollTo (Jquery plugin by Ariel Flesler) bind to all post links with ’scroll-to’ class name attributes selector.
• jQuery simple Tool Tips bind to all post links with ‘ttip’ class name selector and ‘external’ rel selector (target elements must have title attributes for this to work).
• WordPress categories widget hack. This feature will update all WP categories widgets to jQuery Treeview folding list style (jQuery plugin by Jörn Zaefferer). The ’show category children’ widget category options must be enabled for this function to work.
• Most downloads widget (WP-Download Manager by Lester Chan) will automatically append to your custom download page sidebar.
• Translator widget (Global Translator by David Pozza) will automatically append to singular page sidebar.
• Auto append PICS (W3C standards for filtering content) meta-links this options is available at “Theme options » Extra metadata” when you upload labels.rdf on your blog’s root directory.
• Frame breaker, enabling this option will break all client view inside frameset or iframe.
• Alternate language meta-links, will auto append if global translator plugin is enabled.

This are good news for web developer, W3C’s CSS validation system now supports CSS3. Check it out http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http://zeldman.com&warning=1&profile=css3&usermedium=all. It wont report errors if you write valid CSS 3.

If you used the latest version of WP-iStalker theme it will show you the client’s user-agent for sending trackback and pingback. The small signature is display on the comment list & Akismet.

I actually made this little feature for separating WordPress client pingback and trackback comments. I’m positive that you can also used it for comparing real trackback from spammer.
